This beautiful barn conversion in North Yorkshire had an existing multi room audio system installed with a small cinema room based around a 50″ Plasma and 5.1 surround sound system. The client wanted to transform the room into a full-blown Home Cinema Installation suitable for all the family to use for viewing sports and films in. The cinema design we created incorporated some of the cabling already in place whilst retaining the Plasma TV installation for normal TV viewing if required.

Automated 3D Home Cinema with 5.1 surround sound

This automated 3D home cinema system is descrete and simple to use, enabling the transformation from a TV room to cinema and back in the push of a button. We based the system around the award winning JVC DLA-X3 3D Cinema projector, which, with the 3D compatible receiver, projects and impressive 3D image on the 2.4m in-ceiling motorised screen. The 2D image is still class-leading with the ability to rival projectors further up the price range making Blu Ray and DVD’s viewing outstanding.

We utilised some of the clients existing speakers whilst integrating Monitor Audio’s in ceiling speakers and a subwoofer. Control4 takes care of wirelessly controlling the equipment … projector, screen, receiver and blu ray player are all turned on and off from one remote making life simple for the client.
