Showroom
By appointment only, you can meet us in the comfort of our beautifully designed showroom based within this elegant three-storey Victorian town house in the centre of York, overlooking the city’s beautiful Roman walls. This stunning setting allows us not only to discuss your requirements but to see, touch and feel a selection of technology we have to demonstrate.

Within the showroom of our Interior Design partners, David Long Designs we have added an element of multi-room audio/video, lighting control, home automation, CCTV and a DVD server which gives customers a feel for what can be created within their home. Based around the popular and simple to use Control4 Home Automation system, we’re able to provide potential customers the opportunity to experience first-hand the options available to them and how a system integrates seamlessly with a property’s interior, whether a new-build, renovation or within an existing home.

Rako Lighting Control has been integrated on the first floor which allows a number of pre-programmed lighting scenes to be selected either by the traditional wall switch, the on screen display or even on the Apple iPad via the Control4 app. Whether its a cooking scene or dining scene, by simply pressing one button, the desired scene is selected, dimming and raising the lights required, meaning there’s no need to be flicking multiple switches or turning various dimmers to create the perfect mood. Choose from a selection of popular albums or DVD’s stored on the systems hard drive or simply select a radio station to listen to, either is available at the touch of a button. We chose to show Control4 because of its ease of use … its our most popular control system and everyone who has the opportunity of a demonstration within our showroom has embarked on a project with us!
The showroom is truly inspirational with a feel of sophistication and elegance within each room, providing customers of what our joint expertise can provide within their home. Not only are there pieces of bespoke furniture from sofa’s, chairs, tables and light fittings but its all put together in such a way that you can feel how it would work in your home.

When designing the showroom, David mixed the colours from the Sahco fabrics in the Sitting Room and found the exact match for the leather of the Joseph Giles handles and knobs for the Butler’s Pantry. Cast glass was used for the display sections and wall cupboards echoing the curves, which are also found in the round sink in the island, which is a copy of a Chinese Bronze vessel by Kohler. The kettleless kitchen is achieved by the Zip tap hot and chilled and filtered water tap, Caesarstone worktops in heather coloured quartz is the perfect colour to work with the mushroom colour of the sink units, which match the suede of the wall panels of the ‘media wall’ housing the Plasma TV in the Sitting Room.
We’d be delighted to assist with inspiring you with ideas for your home, so feel free to contact us on 01904 289015 to arrange a demonstration.
