A Collaborative Approach
Inspire AV works alongside interior designers to integrate lighting, smart-home technology and AV without compromising the original design.
We coordinate the technical details early, work collaboratively with the wider project team and make complex technology simple for the client.
Beautiful interiors deserve better than technology added as an afterthought
Every interior designer has seen it — a carefully considered space compromised by poorly positioned keypads, visible cable runs, oversized speakers bolted to the ceiling, or a grid of identical downlights that flattens the room the designer spent months perfecting.
The problem is almost always timing. Technology is treated as something to sort out after the design is finished, rather than something to coordinate alongside it.
We help designers plan the technology early — before first-fix electrics, before the joinery is detailed, before the lighting circuit schedule is finalised — so that every technical element supports the room rather than competing with it.

What we design & install
One Collaborative Technology Partner
Every project is specified, engineered, installed and supported by the same people — so the standard never changes between the drawing and the finished room.

Smart Home
Lighting, heating, audio, security and entertainment under one reliable interface. Built on Control4 or Crestron, designed around the way you actually live in your home.

Lighting Design & Control
Properly designed lighting transforms a home more than almost any other technology. As a Lutron Gold Dealer, we design scenes, circuits and control systems that support your interior rather than competing with it.

Technical Coordination
Clear AutoCAD drawings, written specifications and direct communication with your team — designers, architects, electricians, joiners and main contractors. One set of documents, one point of contact, no ambiguity about what goes where.

We protect both your design and your client relationship
When you recommend another specialist to your client, their conduct reflects on you. A technology partner who turns up late, communicates badly, damages finishes or installs something that wasn’t agreed undermines your credibility as much as theirs.

Our team is expected to:
Communicate clearly and directly with you, not around you
Respect the property and the finishes at every stage
Collaborate with other trades without ego or territory
Remain accountable throughout the project and after handover

How we work
Our Process
with Designers
Our every project follows the same disciplined sequence. The earlier we’re involved, the better the result — ideally at the same stage as the architect and interior designer, before first-fix electrics.

Early Conversation
You or your client introduces us to the project. Ideally this happens at scheme design stage, before first-fix electrics are specified. The earlier we’re involved, the more we can integrate and the less it costs.
Design Coordination
We review your drawings, understand the interior concept and produce our technical specification and AutoCAD layouts. These are coordinated with your drawings — we don’t work in isolation.
Specification and Budget
We provide a clear written specification and budget for the client, presented alongside your design scheme so the technology feels like part of the project, not a separate purchase.
Build Programme
We work to your programme — first-fix cabling during the build, second-fix installation after decoration. We coordinate directly with the electrician, joiner and main contractor.
Commissioning and Handover
We programme the system, calibrate audio and video, fine-tune lighting scenes once the furniture and finishes are in, and hand over to the client with a full walkthrough.
Ongoing Support
We remain the single point of contact for the technology after handover. If the client wants to adjust scenes, add a room or get help, they call us — not you.
Design practices we’ve worked with
Supporting the
Design Community
We recently provided photography, production and technical support for the Interior Girls Club event at Cibo, Hale — supporting the design community beyond the project itself.
For selected projects, we help our design partners document completed spaces through professional photography, video and collaborative case studies. It’s not a separate service — it’s part of building stronger relationships and helping exceptional projects receive the attention they deserve.
