London Super Home - Sonos & Lutron Installation

A Lutron lighting and Sonos audio installation in an exquisite Georgian townhouse at Cadogan Place, central London — delivered in partnership with developer London Projects. The brief was technology that complemented the interior design and the classical architecture rather than announcing itself: simple, reliable and discreet.

The brief

Two systems, both chosen for the same reason — they disappear into the home. Sonos multi-room audio across four zones, controlled from the client's phone, so music follows them from the drawing room to the dining area to the kitchen without visible equipment. And Lutron lighting control across every room, with programmable scenes that shift from soft ambient evening light to bright task lighting during the day.

The challenges

Retrofitting into a Georgian townhouse means working within the fabric of a period building — routing cables through plaster walls, coordinating with decorators to ensure keypads and faceplates match the finish, and keeping every piece of technology invisible against bold interior details like the sculptural lighting, mirror-lined staircase and full-height living green wall.

What we designed and installed

Lighting
A full Lutron lighting control system with programmable scenes for every room. Feature lighting and architectural LEDs highlight the interior details — the staircase, the artwork, the green wall — while the scene programming means the whole mood of the house changes at one button.

Audio
Sonos multi-room audio across four zones with four video distribution zones. The system is controlled directly from the client's phone or tablet — no separate remote, no wall-mounted controller, just the app they already use.

Integration
Working closely with London Projects throughout the renovation, the Sonos and Lutron systems were coordinated with the developer and interior designers so the technology was integrated during the build rather than added afterwards. The result is a property where nothing looks added — it all belongs.
